I’m sure you’ve all loved our list with the 15 best dressed stars at the 2015 Academy Awards but now it’s time to focus on the less appealing outfits from this year’s Oscars so here are probably the worst dressed celebrities from this event.
The young Zendaya Coleman looked uber cute but she’s still a rookie when it comes to red carpet appearances. Her white dress, designed by Vivienne Westwood and the fine jewelry pieces from Chopard, definitely proved she has class and elegance but that weird, African-inspired hairstyle, totally ruined the outfit for us. That’s something really inappropriate for the Oscars.
The “Boyhood” actress, Lorelei Linklater, also exaggerated a bit with her Gabriela Cadena outfit. The combination of Asian-inspired embroidery with the asymmetrical cuts of the dress, plus the jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz, created a look that was a bit too much for most of us.
Another outfit that wasn’t too great has been worn by the young Chloe Grace Moretz, who appeared in a bulky Miu Miu dress which was probably perfect for a prom from the last century. She’s just 17 right now, so she still has a lot to learn and I’m sure we’re all going to see better outfits from Chloe in the future.
Laura Dern’s outfit at this year’s Oscars would have been pretty great if there weren’t any jewelry pieces. Her metallic Alberta Ferretti dress was really ravishing but using too many accessories didn’t do Laura well, and we’ve got another case of “too much” here.
For an Oscar nominee, Kerry Washington didn’t bring her “A” game to the Academy Awards. Her Miu Miu outfit was pretty boring, totally not suitable for an event as big as this one, especially when she could have been on the stage raising an Oscar.
In the end, I don’t really know if I can find the right words to describe this weird outfit worn by Blanca Blanco. Her twisted red dress looked like a sort of red cabbage, something totally not right for an event like the Oscars and topping our list for the worst dressed celebrities at the Oscars.
