Unveiled last year by Elie Saab, La Collection des Essences is a beautiful, couture-inspired line of perfumes made with classic ingredients by Francis Kurkdjian. Four scents were unveiled last year with this new collection of perfumes, Essence No.1 Rose, Essence No.2 Gardenia, Essence No.3 Ambre and Essence No.4 Oud, each of them capturing perfectly the scent of its focal ingredient.
This year, Elie Saab added two new editions to this interesting collection of perfumes, called Essence No.6 Vetiver and Essence No.7 Neroli, both of them designed by the same perfumer.
Vetiver comes with Haitian and Javanese vetiver notes, combined with Calabrian bergamot and grapefruit, plus woody notes of papyrus and spices, to get a stunning woody/spicy aroma. No.6 is actually a unisex fragrance, so it’s perfect if you want to share the same scent with your significant other.
Next, Essence No.7 Neroli is focused on orange blossoms from Elie Saab’s native country, Lebanon, combined with a lovely Mediterranean theme that makes it fresh and seducing, with a scent that reminds us a bit about the brand’s famous Le Parfum fragrance.
In case you’re interested in any of these fragrances and you haven’t seen them yet in stores, you could also check them out right on Elie Saab’s official website.
