The 2015 edition of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival was kicked off over the weekend and it’s our duty, as always, to show you the best dressed stars from this glamorous event. If you thought the 2015 Met Gala was truly ravishing, the annual film festival held in France managed to take the fashion stakes even higher, with some of the most stunning red carpet appearances of the year.
The Cannes Film Festival is just the perfect event for movie and style aficionados, a 12 day marathon filled with movie premieres and fabulous soirees, where you could see some of Hollywood’s brightest and most talented stars, plus adorably hot models, singers and many other celebrities.
So here are some of the most stunning stunning red carpet appearances from the 68th Le Festival International du Film de Cannes.
Lupita Nyong’o was my favorite appearance on the red carpet, wearing a drop dead gorgeous custom jade chifron pisse gown with cape detail from Gucci at the opening ceremony of the festival, accessorized with a blush pink satin clutch, green satin platform heels and Chopard jewelry.
Emma Stone rocked a beautiful Dior gown at the Irrational Man premiere, with a stunning necklace and rings from Repossi and Jennifer Meyer stud earrings.
We all know Miranda Kerr can look incredible no matter what she’s wearing but in this gorgeous David Koma dress she was just drool inducing. You could also notice a chic Atelier Swarovski ring on her finger.
Liya Kebede was one of the most beautiful sights at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, rocking a Louis Vuitton dress at the opening ceremony and other gorgeous outfits at movie premieres.
Doutzen Kroes was also absolutely sexy as usual, rocking an Atelier Versace white gown with a thigh-high slit and one shoulder neckline, together with Chopard jewelry and Jimmy Choo sandals.
Aishwarya Rai was spotted at the premiere of Carol wearing this mesmerizing emerald green evening gown from Elie Saab couture.
Charlize Theron turned a lot of heads on the red carpet at the Mad Max: Fury Road premiere with this awesome Dior gown, matched by Chopard jewelry and a stylish yellow gold and emerald cigar band from Jennifer Meyer.
Naomi Watts also attended the Mad Max premiere, and she did it in style with a lovely black dress accessorized by Bulgari jewelry.
