Every collection Jeremy Scott touches instantly becomes a big hit on Instagram and obviously his new creations for Spring/Summer 2016, unveiled at the New York Fashion week, proved to be equally successful on social media.
Jeremy Scott’s new collection impresses us trough its retro, color-happy items that take us right back to the ’60s mod fashion, with models rocking bouffant wigs, eye catching skirts cut in a flippy mini silhouette, and playfully printed shifts and sheaths, while the accessories complement these outfits perfectly.
If you’re looking to stand out wherever you go, these accessories will surely do the trick: statement geometric earrings from Alexis Bittar, dangled from one lobe or both, colorful stacked Lucite bangles on both wrists and round retro sunglasses from Linda Farrow that will give your eyes just the right amount of shade.
Every single piece from Jeremy Scott’s new collection looks like it came straight out of a movie and will make you feel like a retro movie star in the process.
For this amazing show, Melissa designed for Jeremy Scott some lovely plasticky midi boots and peep-toes which look almost exactly like inflatables, while the leather Pollini boots were treated to red-and-white swirls.
Of course the show had to have a name equally special as the collection, and Jeremy decided to call it “Remove Control” as a nod to television. Novelty purses took the form of old-school sets, while others featured eccentric lines like a scrambled signal.
