Well, this is not really about fashion and style, but we just had to write about Beyonce’s latest “accomplishment” – the music diva has apparently inspired this stunning curvaceous skyscraper that will soon be built in Melbourne. The Beyonce skyscraper will be 226-metre high, featuring 78 floors and it will be located on 134 Spencer Street.
If you’re wondering what’s Beyonce’s connection with this amazing project designed by Australian firm Elenberg Fraser, we should tell you that the curvy contours and bulges of this tower reference one of Beyone’s music videos, where a trio of bodies are seen swathed in stretchy fabric as they move around and stretch to the beats.
The architects themselves have revealed that the unique form of the skyscraper comes from Beyonce’s Ghost video. The Beyonce skyscraper has a curvy shape for the tower and is not only beautiful, but it’s also designed to make it as structurally efficient as possible.
Beyonce hasn’t commented anything on this mesmerizing project but I’m sure she would be happy to hear that a Beyonce skyscraper like this one has been designed with her music video in mind. I would love to see somewhere in the world a skyscraper inspired by me.
