The 2014 Victoria Secret Fashion Show Was the Fashion Event of the Season
Since I haven’t been invited to Victoria’s Secret Fashion show yet, I had to wait to see it on TV to be able to gawk, drool and prepare for this article. And oh my, what an amazing show it was! I was completely mesmerized for exactly an hour, an hour filled with so much glitz and glam that it was practically palpable.
I’ve dreamed of being on the runway of the show one day, and even though that didn’t happen, I’ve seen every Victoria’s Secret fashion show in the past ten years and I can easily say that this one was probably the best. It had the highest concentration of ridiculously hot models per square meter, a perfect location at Earls Court Exhibition Center and a stage… that made the entire show even more appealing.
I love the fact that the show has moved to London this year and I hope it will come back to Europe in the next years because… it’s closer to me and also because this show proved to be a total hit from the first minutes! In just a couple of numbers we could sum this year’s show like this: 47 beauties, 81 looks, 3400 guests with ogling eyes, 2 fantasy bras, 39 unique pairs of angels wings and six different themes – Gilded Angels, Exotic Traveler, Fairy Tale, Dream Girl, University of Pink and Angel Ball.
2014 Victoria Secret Fashion Show had models in droves adorned with exotic patterns, textures and more.
For me, the stars of the night were the always gorgeous Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, Alessandra Ambrosio and Doutzen Kroes but there were other girls who literally rocked the runway. Those tight little bodies were adorned in the sexy lingerie from Victoria’s Secret and adorned with feathers and gold with butterfly and dragon shaped wings which dropped everyone’s jaws to the floor.
Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Hozier (sorry, this was just the first time I’ve heard of this guy) made she show even more interesting with live performances but I was really focusing more on the beautiful angels. And you’ll be focusing on them as well by clicking on this gallery below. Enjoy!
